Hypnotherapy

Jane received her training in hypnosis through the International Institute for Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology and Hypnosis.

In 1958, hypnosis was accepted by the Council on Mental Health of the American Medical Association as a valuable tool. Instruction in hypnosis was recommended for inclusion in both medical school curricula and postgraduate training centers.

Hypnosis can be described as an increased state of bodily relaxation during which the mind can access deep concentration and heightened awareness. This is an opportune state of the mind to integrate positive suggestions. One of the appealing aspects of hypnosis is that your unconscious mind does the work even as your conscious mind wanders elsewhere. The unconscious mind takes you only as deep into the experience as is necessary to install the resources you need to successfully accomplish your goals.

Hypnosis can be used for performance enhancement, increased productivity, pain management, "kicking" old habits and many other applications.
